Professional Audience Feedback

Once I had completed my music video and my two ancillary tasks, a professional named Becca came into our media lesson and watched our video and looked at our album digipak and magazine advert. She gave me some feedback on my video of what she thought the strengths were and what she thought I could improve on. I wrote down what Becca said on these two sheets.

I have learnt a lot from this professional audience feedback. I am very happy with the feedback Becca gave me but I do disagree with some of the improvements she thought I should make. She mentioned that although she liked the idea of the footage in black and white, she did not think the effect worked when new technologies like the phone were featured. I disagree with this and think she may have misunderstood the point of the black and white footage. It is supposed to represent a past relationship that ended recently not a past relationship that ended 50 years ago. This is why I think the footage of the phone in black and white does work because the memory is of a recent time. Other than that I agree with everything Becca said, if I had more time I would have thought more about the lighting I had used on the indoor shots. I am also very happy that she liked the hand held camera style of shots when presenting the memory as I did this to ensure the audience could tell a complete difference between the present and the past.
